From the 1st to the 3rd of March, I-MAT’s consortium met in Lisbon, Portugal, to start the three years of work in the scope of this project co-funded by the European Union through Key Action 2 of the Erasmus+ Programme within the scope of Capacity Building in Higher Education.
On the first day, general meetings were held which provided an opportunity for all the partners represented in the consortium to introduce their institutions, as well as to make a general presentation of the project, mentioning the objectives set for the next three years.
On day 2, the participants had the opportunity to visit the Taguspark Campus of Técnico Lisboa, where three types of meetings were organized: individual meetings, where a direct meeting between the project coordinator (Técnico Lisboa) and each of the partners was promoted about their specific responsibilities until 2025. Simultaneously, two sessions were held with the remaining group: one dedicated to the contributions, fears and expectations and the other to the critical risks associated with the implementation of I-MAT.
Finally, on the last day, there was a last meeting entirely dedicated to the project, more specifically to its communication. On the remaining day Técnico Lisboa had the opportunity to show the work of its Mobility and International Cooperation Office team as the office directly responsible for the coordination of I-MAT, directly informing its partners about its good practices in terms of international mobility of the institution.
It was thus the first formal meeting of the I-MAT consortium, which allowed the establishment of solid foundations for the implementation of the remaining objectives of the project until December 2025.
