Results and Events
The preparation phase consists of a status report based on surveys focusing on international mobility (implemented in the Latin American partner Institutions) and on a detailed overview of the activities conducted by project partner Institutions to encourage international mobility (Fact Finding Study Table).
Survey results:
The results of the Surveys implemented in the Latin American Countries is a culmination of two distinct surveys: one targeted towards students and the other towards staff members across six Higher Education Institutions in Brazil, Colombia, and Peru.

Fact Finding Study Table
The Fact Finding Study Table represents the set of descriptions of examples of good practices developed and implemented by all nine I-MAT project partners to encourage international mobility of students, academic and non-academic staff.
The development phase focuses on innovative tools to attract students, academic and nonacademic staff for international mobility. At this stage, the first version of the Guidelines of tools to attract students, academic and non-academic staff for International Mobility is produced, following the organization and implementation of a Pilot-Workshop.
Additionally, the International Mobility Interactive App “I-MOB” and Training programmes in the LA partner HEIs for academics and administrators working with international mobility strategies also takes place in this phase. The training programmes will be implemented in three slots, one training in each LA partner country HEI.
- Pilot Workshop:
The first version of the Catalogue of Tools was tested in a pilot workshop, includinG participants from EU and LA HEIs directly involved in “international mobility” strategies.
The pilot-workshop serves as an opportunity to detect positive and negative aspects of the catalogue.
Consult here the Content Report Based on the Pilot-Workshop on the first version of the Catalogue of Tools.
- I-MOB APP:
The objectives of this work package is to design and create an innovative app to promote the attractiveness of students, academic and non-academic staff for international mobility.
- Training Programmes

The training programmes was implemented in three slots: one training in each LA partner.
The Implementation phase consists in the organization of activities in the LA HEIs to attract students, academic and non-academic staff for International Mobility (International Mobility Labs and International Mobility Exhibitions). These activities intend to implement the skills gained during the project with the specific goal of attracting students and staff for international mobility and promote ownership.
- International Mobility Labs
The purpose of these Labs is to make information on internationalization more accessible and didactic, inviting the school community to participate in activities that make them aware of the different mobility programs offered by their universities.
The International Mobility Labs took place in UNIANDES, UFRN and UCSP.
- International Mobility Exhibitions
The implementation of the International Mobility Exhibitions will have the main goal of informing students, academic and non-academic staff about the reality of international mobility through presentations of mobility programmes, testimonials, etc. The activities will have a more illustrative and exposition content, which will promote the ideal of internationalization in the HEI that hosts this event.
The International Mobility Exhibitions took place in UNIFOR, PUCP, PUJ.
